That Council of The Township of Whitewater Region approve the December 4, 2024 minutes.

The public meeting has been convened at 3:07 p.m. to hear comments and receive information from the public regarding 3 proposed zoning applications to amend the Township of Whitewater Region's zoning bylaw in accordance with the Planning Act.  A Motion is posted in the report section for discussion after the public meeting  Public Meeting Adjournment 3:38 p.m.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region receive the 2024 Fourth Quarter Administration Report for information purposes.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region approve an amendment to the zoning of property described as Ross Concession 7, Part Lot 26, formerly known municipally as 1654 Queens Line, from Agricultural (A) to Agricultural - Exception 77 (A-E77) to prohibit residential uses on the property.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region approve a zoning amendment for the property described as Part of Lot 14, Westmeath Concession 3 EML, and known municipally as 2370 Zion Line, to permit agricultural uses on a property having a lot area less than 20 hectares and to reduce the rear and side lot line setback for livestock facilities, manure storage areas or farm use buildings/structures to 11 metres.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region repeal By-law No. 24-02-1662, thereby dissolving the Community Services Advisory Committee.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region enter into a transfer payment agreement to access funding through the Ontario FireSmart Communities grant.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region enter into a transfer payment agreement to access the Ontario Fire Protection grant funding, and approve the additional unfunded costs of this project.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region approve the amendments to the Recreation Vehicles/Trailers Licensing By-law.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region approve the award of a sole source contract to Cornerstones Management Solutions Limited for services related to job Regular Council Minutes January 15, 2025 Page 5 of 8 evaluation, pay equity and salary review at an upset limit cost of $14,745.02 inclusive non-refundable H.S.T.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region authorizes the execution of a partnership agreement with Bonnechere Valley and North Algona Wilberforce for the implementation of the Rural Transit Solutions Fund.

Be it resolved that the By-laws be listed on the January 15, 2025 agenda, be taken as read and passed.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region extend the meeting as per Section 9 of the procedural by-law to 6:30 p.m.

Regular Council Minutes January 15, 2025 Page 7 of 8 Recommendation: That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region move into closed session at 5:45 p.m. to discuss litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the Municipality or local board; the receiving of advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose (2024 Legal Claims Update), and personal matters about an identifiable individual (Community Development Department), with the CAO/Deputy Clerk remaining in the room.
