That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region approve an amendment to the zoning categories of the property described as Part of Lot 11, Concession 9, Kerr Line: - from “Residential Two (R2) Zone” to “Rural – Exception Thirty-Seven (RU-E37) Zone” and - from “Agriculture (A) Zone” to “Agriculture – Exception Eighteen (A-E18) Zone”.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region approve an amendment to the zoning category of the property described as Part of Lot 20, Concession 7, Magnesium Regular Council Minutes June 2, 2021 Page 2 of 8 Road/Queens Line, from“Agriculture (A) Zone” to “Agriculture - Exception Twenty-One (A-E21) Zone”.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region approve an amendment to the zoning category of the property located at 103 Rapid Road, from “Waterfront Vicinity (WV) Zone” to “Waterfront Vicinity - Exception Fifty-Three (WV- E53) Zone”.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region direct staff to take the necessary steps to transfer an access easement in favor of David and Susan Shields to provide access to the property described as Part of Lots 75, 76 and 77 of Plan 6 in Beachburg.

That Council of the Township approve a contract Building Inspector/Plans Examiner position for a 24-month contract at 1000 hours per year to meet increased demand in building services.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region, having given consideration of the preliminary development proposal for the property described as Part of Lot 13, Ross Concession 11, provide the following direction: 1. That the approval authority is satisfied that the development can proceed by consent (severance) applications. 2. That a development agreement be prepared for Council consideration relating to the transfer of the fire access route pursuant to the development of the private road. 3. That the list of required reports and studies listed in this report be provided to the proponent.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region approve an Arena/Parks Operator III position as recommended by the Parks & Recreation Operational Review beginning with the 2021-2022 ice season. That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region: 1. Award Tender #2021-18 to Huckabone Equipment for the purchase of a Parks & Recreation Lawn Tractor; and 2. In addition to the approved capital amount of $10,000.00 for Park Equipment, approve an additional amount of $7,553.64 from Recreation Reserves to cover the additional cost for a total purchase of $17,553.64, including H.S.T. rebate.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region approve the award of Tender 2021-25 Sand Screening to Eastway Contracting Inc. at a cost of $25,973.73 inclusive of non- refundable H.S.T.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region approve the award of Tender 2021-24 Gravel Crushing to Eastway Contracting Inc. at a cost of $90,346.88 inclusive of non- refundable H.S.T.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region direct staff to proceed with a request for proposals to purchase and install a weight scale at the Ross Landfill Site.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region extend the meeting past 7:45. p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater receive this report for information purposes as it relates to delegation requests at the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) Virtual Conference to be held August 15-18, 2021.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region approve the regular minutes of May 19, 2021.

Be it resolved that the by-laws listed on the June 2, 2021 agenda be taken as read and passed.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region move into closed session at 7:52 p.m. as permitted under Section 9 of the Procedure By-law to discuss labour relations/employee negotiations and personal matters about an identifiable individual including municipal or local board employees, with the CAO/Deputy Clerk and Treasurer/Deputy CAO remaining in the room to discuss Compensation Review Policy Implications.
