That Development & Planning Committee recommend Council of the Township of Whitewater Region enact a by- law for 277 Nangor Trail in order to modify the zoning category from “Tourist Commercial (TC) Zone” to “Waterfront Vicinity - Exception Fifty-Two (WV-E52) Zone” and “Rural (RU) Zone”.

That Development & Planning Committee recommend Council of the Township of Whitewater Region enact a by- law for the property known as Wren Subdivision Phase 2 in order to modify the zoning category from Residential One - holding (R1-h) Zone” and “Residential Three – holding (R3- h) Zone” to “Residential One (R1) Zone”.

That Development & Planning Committee recommend Council of the Township of Whitewater Region support Consent File B43/19 to permit a lot addition, subject to the following conditions: Regular Council Minutes September 4, 2019 Page 3 of 12 1. That the Owner provides the Township with two original copies of a registered reference plan (survey plan) that identifies the severances. 2. That the Owner obtain a Zoning By-law Amendment in order to place a holding symbol on the lands located within the “Rural (RU) Zone”.

That Development & Planning Committee recommend Council of the Township of Whitewater Region support Consent File B52/19 to permit a lot addition, subject to the following condition: 1. That the Owner provides the Township with two original copies of a registered reference plan (survey plan) that identifies the severances.

That Development & Planning Committee recommend Council of the Township of Whitewater Region support Consent File B32/19 to allow creation of an access easement, subject to the following condition: 1. That the Owner provides the Township with two original copies of a registered reference plan (survey plan) that identifies the severances.

That Development & Planning Committee recommend Council of the Township of Whitewater Region direct staff to apply for a grant under the Rural Economic Development (RED) Program for the preparation of a Business Retention and Expansion Program.

That Transportation Services Committee recommend Council of the Township of Whitewater Region: 1. Confirm that Sams Road is not a maintained road and that it be signed accordingly; and 2. Approve that work may be completed on Sams Road by the requestor at their own cost subject to a standard satisfactory to the Road Authority.

That Transportation Services Committee recommend Council of the Township of Whitewater Region approve the award of RFP 2019-14 Cameron Street Engineering Design to Jp2g Consultants Inc. at a tendered price of $26,312.05 (including HST).

That Transportation Services Committee recommend Council of the Township of Whitewater Region approve the award of Tender 2019-21 Screen Sanding & Pit Overburden Stripping to Buchanan’s Sand & Gravel Limited at a cost of $28,611.60 (incl. HST) for Sand Screening plus $8,475.00 (incl. HST) for Pit Overburden Stripping.

That Transportation Services Committee recommend Council of the Township of Whitewater Region approve the purchase of a Ford factory crate engine at a total estimated cost of $15,012.47 after HST Rebate and core return, to be funded from Roads Equipment Repair.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region support Consent File B43/19 to permit a lot addition, subject to the following conditions: 1. That the Owner provides the Township with two original copies of a registered reference plan (survey plan) that identifies the severances. 2. That the Owner obtain a Zoning By-law Amendment in order to place a holding symbol on the lands located within the “Rural (RU) Zone”.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region approve the award of RFP 2019-11 for Detailed Design for the Cobden Astrolabe Arena Renovation and Addition to Architecture49 Inc. at an upset cost of $175,000 after HST rebate.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region approve the award of Tender 2019-21 Screen Sanding & Pit Overburden Stripping to Buchanan’s Sand & Gravel Limited at a cost of $28,611.60 (incl. HST) for Sand Screening plus $8,475.00 (incl. HST) for Pit Overburden Stripping.
