That Building & Property Services Committee recommend Council of the Township of Whitewater Region support severance application B125/17 for the property legally described as Part of Lots 19 and 20, Concessions 3 and 4, Ross Township, with the following conditions: 1. Favourable comments are required from the Ministry of Transportation. 2. Minimum Distance Separation (MDSl) calculations must be found to be favourable. 3. The Township has no objection to an accessory building on the severed and retained lots before a main permitted use is established. 4. A registered plan of survey is required.

That Community Services Committee recommend Council of the Township of Whitewater Region accept the 2017 Accessibility Compliance Report.

That Community Services Committee recommend Council of the Township of Whitewater Region direct staff to stop winter maintenance at Veterans Memorial Park.

That Community Services Committee recommend Council of the Township of Whitewater Region direct staff to maintain winter maintenance at Veterans Memorial Park with alternatives to ensure protection of the monument.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region accept the Ontario Tire Stewardship (OTS) Notice of Termination of Collector Agreement, dated January 26, 2018.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region accept the 2017 Drinking Water Systems & Wastewater System Annual Reports for 2017.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region receive and acknowledge the Ontario Clean Water Agency 2017 financial reconciliation for the Township’s Drinking Water Systems and Wastewater System.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region support severance application B10/18 for the property legally described as Lots 499 and 508, Plan 86, 2 Ross Street, in the Town of Cobden with the following condition: 1. A registered plan of survey is required with separate parts showing the severed lands and a 1 square foot or 1- foot wide strip of land from Lot 498, Plan 86 for conveyance to allow for consolidation of subject lands.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region accept the 2017 Accessibility Compliance Report.

That Council of Township of the Whitewater Region approve the 2017 Financial Statements as presented on April 4, 2018.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region approve the closure of the municipal office on April 12, 2018 for a staff training day.

That Council of the Township of Whitewater Region move into closed session at 5:02 p.m. to discuss the Upcoming Negotiations with CUPE Local 4353 with the CAO/Clerk, Treasurer/Deputy CAO, Manager of Physical Services, Supervisor of Roads and County Director of Human Resources remaining in the room.

Be it resolved that By-law 18-04-1054, being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of Council at its Regular Meeting held April 4 2018, be taken as read and passed.
